Day 01: Singapore – Taipei
Tamshui Old Street: Famous for its “iron-eggs” and well-preserved buildings.
Fisherman’s Wharf/Lovers Bridge: It is situated on the right bank of the mouth of the Tamshui River. It looks east to the Datun Mountains and southwest across the river to Guanyinshan. Along with the fishing boats and cruise ships berthed here, the wharf has a boardwalk, cafes and and expansive Harbor Park. Lover’s Bridge arches like a huge white sail across the harbor, the filming site of the popular TV drama serial, “Meteor Garden”.
Ximending: A shopping paradise for young people, with a wide selection of the latest in fashion trends. Every pax will be treated with the famous Ah Zhong Mee Sua (one bowl per pax).
Day 02
Yehliu: An amazing array of geological formations carved out by Mother Nature, from sea-eroded trenches, beehive rocks and candlestick rocks to tofu rocks, mushroom rocks, kettle holes and dissolved basin and the Queen’s Head Rock.
Chiufen: located up in the charming hills of Northeast Taiwan. During the Taiwanese gold rush, Chiufen was the heart of mining activities. Visitors can wander the precipitous old streets and recapture the flavour of a simpler past. You can also enjoy some of the local delicacies such as Dou Kou beef noodles, Fish Ball soup and Chiufen yam ball soup.
King Car Company / Orchid Garden: Visit the factory that made the “KAVALAN” Whisky and also admire the orchid garden.
Hualien Amei Cultural Village: Be welcomed by the Ami Aboriginal Cultural Show with their brightly colored native outfits and unique tribal dance.
Day 03
Taroko National Park/Shakadang Trail/Changchun Temple: Is a world-renowned majestic beauty with marble-walled gorge scenery. You can marvel at the gorges carved out by a river and Shakadang Trail & Changchun Temple….
Marble Factory: Taiwan biggest marble factory, Kung Lung Mineral museum. You will have a chance to view unique sculptures made from marble.
Chihpen Hot Spring: Located in the Beinan Township, Taitung County, Jhihben is renowned as a hot springs resort. The water is not as hot as other hot springs and is also drinkable. (Bring your own Swim Suit and Cap)
Day 04
Cape 7 - Aga’s Home: This is the very setting where sparks of romance between the formerly feuding Aga and Tomoko were ignited and sent flying in “Cape 7” (View only - Visiting of the room is your own expense)
Fo Kuang Shan: The centre of Buddhism in southern Taiwan, the large statue of Buddha can be seen in far distance and the entire mountain has been developed into a complex of temples, halls and gardens.
Dreams Mall: It has the only mammoth outdoor Hello Kitty Ferris Wheel in Taiwan. Enjoy a ride in the ferries wheel at your own expenses (if time permits) and be captivated by the beautiful scenery of Kaohsiung.
Leo He Night Market: is a great place for bargains, shopping and local snacks.
Day 05
Ying Zhang Farm: Experience Peng Peng train ride and enjoy feeding the cow, goat and fresh milk tasting.
Senwho Resort Farm: The farm covers total area of 52 hectares. Here you can see the beautiful mountains surrounding the skyline of Chianan Plain. There are also a number of other activities all year round, such as Eco-activity, DIY coffee making, making of “Ang Gu Kueh”, barbeque sweet potatoes & Free KARAOKE is also available till 11.00 pm every night.
Day 06
Fenqihu Railway Station Museum: The original train station was severely damaged after the 921 Earthquake. The station reopened after years of reconstruction. It is the largest railway station made of wood in Taiwan.
Alishan/Sisters Pond/Shouzhen Temple/Tataja: Alishan National Forest Recreation Area is located in Alishan Township, Chiayi, covering an area of 1400 hectares with the main tourism spot locating at about 2,200 meters high above sea level. It is cloudy mid-elevation temperate climate with an average annual temperature 10.6oC. Here, one experience the beauty of nature, especially the grand woods and visit the famous tourist spots such as the Sisters Pond, the Shouzhen Temple and Tataja.
Sun Moon Lake (Cruise around the lake)/Syuanguang Temple: Sun Moon Lake is located right in the centre of Taiwan. It has an elevation of 748 meters above sea level, and is the largest natural lake in Taiwan. Next visit the Syuanguang Temple (tasting local tea egg).
Wen Wu Temple:The statue of Guan Gong, Yue Fei and Confucius are enshrined in this temple overlooking the lake.
Feng Jia Night Market: Besides able to try delicious snack food, one can also get clothes at reasonable prices at this night market.
Day 07
Martyr’s Shrine: Here one can witness the elaborate and graceful changing of guards’ ceremony.
Pi-Siou arts Centre: Visit one of Taiwan’s famous arts center where you can purchase the lucky charm, Pi Siou
Taipei 101: Is currently the tallest building in the world. Shop in the Taipei 101 mall, or at your own expenses, ride the world’s fastest elevator (1010m/min) to the 89 floor observatory, where you can enjoy the wonderful sights of Taipei, and on a clear day, even Keelung.
Weige: Selling famous Taiwan pineapple tarts and assorted confectionery
Shihlin Night Market: Is a great place for tasting local snacks such as delicious Taiwanese snacks such as the XXL crispy chicken and Oyster omelette and bargains for clothing, accessories.
Day 08
Taipei – Singapore: After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back to Singapore with fond memories of your tour with Wingo Travel
